With the work on the Sincline ships done, Allura and Lotor make the journey into the quintessence field while the others wait nervously in the Castle of Lions. They're hailed by an unidentified craft, piloted by Keith, which Coran is shocked to learn is Altean in origin. Keith arrives with Krolia, the Altean they discovered, and the cosmic wolf he rescued on the space whale to tell them that Lotor has been lying to them all this time. Romelle, the Altean, explains that Lotor rescued any Alteans who hadn't been on Altea at the time of its destruction and created a colony for them to hide and live in peace...
