While riding out together with everyone, Ami and Aoi discover that the cyclist they met at Shibu Pass is Hinako's friend, Saki Takamiya. Wanting to ride her bike more, Ami decides to go for a ride by herself, ending up with a flat tire while trying to outrace another cyclist. After Ami's attempts at fixing it herself results in all of her spare tubes bursting, she is helped out by a group of cyclists wearing the same jerseys as Hinako and Yayoi. Continuing her lonely ride, Ami feels relieved when she comes across Aoi, realising that cycling is more fun with friends.
